My wife and I are visiting the Coastline of Oregon and decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. The weather was rainy and the small town seemed quite empty, not a lot of movement. As we entered, there were a few people dining for such a nice size restaurant. We ordered Mac n Cheese with layered brisket and half of BBQ chicken with mash potatoes. As an appetizer, we had asked for the calamari and to our astonishment, the food was quite tasty! The staff, servers, etc were very polite and respectful and I would like every customer service to be. Though it was super dark outside, you can hear the waves crashing in the shore which is a very cool sound to hear. I highly recommend others to visit this place if ever in the area.
A bit of a wait to get in here but well worth it as everything our table had was delicious! Great selection of brews. Our favorites were Tsunami Stout and Cape Crasher IPA. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was set up nicely to accommodate a safe environment.
The food was pretty good, but definitely over priced. The French fries were probably the best part of this meal. We ordered our meals then we sat in the car until we thought they might be ready. Once they were ready they said because the meals were to go that we couldn't even sit in the parking lot. We got them to go because we didn't want to sit in a crowded restaurant. The waitress was really nice!
Stopped in to address a wife craving for a cup of clam chowder. They weren't doing take out due to short staffing, so we had to stop and go sit. The clam chowder was fine, fairly bland, but good. Serving was very small for a cup. Their red ale was quite good. Staff was pretty friendly, adjusting expectations for a tourist heavy spot.
