Bidra med feedbackOur sudden craving for noodles brought us to this homey ramen place. As it is our first time, we ordered their Tsukumo ramen. The warmth of the ramen was just right, and the smell of the pork-based broth was really delicious. The tsukumo ramen has mushrooms, nori, and two slices of chasu. The size of their normal serving is perfect if you're hungry, but I suggest ordering solo or sharing one bowl if your appetite is not that big. (My friends weren't able to finish theirs lol). The ramen itself is delicious. The broth had a very rich taste, but a lot of it is nakaka-umay if you finish the noodles first. The chasu (pork slices) kind of had a bit more fat than what I prefer, but it's still savory. The ambiance was good-- we got a good table. The place was really homey, and the soft Japanese music playing on the background was soothing. The servers made the place very welcoming. They'll instantly greet you with an energized Japanese greeting. The servers were not intimidating, and they're always smiling. They nicely answer your questions and give good suggestions on which food to try. There's a 10% service charge, but I think it was worth it.

First time to eat at Tsukumo Ramen and it's their only branch here in the Philippines. Only in Ermita, Manila. I loved the flavorful soup of shoyu ramen, the thicker noodles and the soft pork belly. It was good. But the ambience, not really.
We ordered Miso Ramen,Tonkotsu Ramen,Cheese Ramen and Cheese&Chasu Donut Croquette. All the orders of Ramen had large serving and all are tasty and packed with toppings. The donut croquette is delicious as well, with the gooey cheese and meat in the croquette. However,my cousin wasn't able to finish her order and she isn't allowed to take out her leftover (you should really go there hungry).
Tried Tsukumo ramen which was amazing - noodles were cooked perfectly and broth was full of flavor. Restaurant is very clean. Staff are knowledgeable, attentive, energetic, and friendly. Will definitely go back.
