La Cocina de Consuelo at Casa Consuelo

I have to admit that the food selection at this small/medium sized resort is quite extensive and delicious. My compliments to the chef!

We ordered the seafood platter serving 2-4 persons according to menu. We left the restaurant still hungry, the platter could have satisfied just my appetite. And 1400 pesos in the Philippines for such small stuff (1 microlobster 150 grams maximum, 6 shrimps, 2 small crabs...with nothing in it, 1 small squid and a slice of tuna) in a location not among the expensive ones are really too much. Pity because the food was well cooked. We booked the dinner in advance and it was ready quickly.

My husband and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary with dinner at this restaurant in May 2016. I have to say, the food was exceptional! The service was also outstanding, with very friendly and accommodating staff. Although the resort is not as large as others in Pagudpud, it was incredibly relaxing and quiet. I now regret not choosing Casa Consuelo for our three-day, two-night stay in Pagudpud.

Casa consuelo is a very romantic place for couple and famile front of beach with infinity swimming pool nice and cozy room great food and lovely view by the the island like the weather so hot and breezi.

My experience at this restaurant on a Saturday was a bit frustrating as we had to wait an hour for our lunch to arrive. However, once the food came, it was enjoyable and we appreciated the ambiance of the restaurant overlooking the bay. The staff were attentive and friendly. Although the food wasn't the greatest we've had in the area, it was still satisfactory.
