The staff was very friendly. On the way up they give you a brief history of what you're going to be passing on your way down. I have to admit, I was nervous about the safety portion going down hill. This is definitely not a beginner ride. But the bikes are serviced and the brakes work great! It's down hill 99% of the ride. Would definitely go again!

Johnny was awesome and made everything easy and fun. A fast ride and beautiful views. If you think you should not take a rain jacket (they provide them too), think again. It may be hot at the bottom, but can be very cold at the top. Fun places to stop on the way and just a great time.

Wonderful self-paced tour of Haleakala and the city of Makawao! Our guide Rocco grew up in Makawao and had all the tips for the best places to visit and his knowledge of the island and its history was impeccable. We really enjoyed being able to go at our own pace without being tailed by a van and then getting about an hour to explore the town on our own. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to ride down the volcano or anyone looking for a more intimate experience on the island.

My wife and I really enjoyed our bike trip. The tour guide, Johnny, made the ride up interesting with lots of information on local attractions and advice on the best things to do in Maui. The ride down was fun for experienced MTB riders and beginners both. Views were absolutely amazing!! One the best ways to experience Maui with the breeze blowing in your face as you cruise down.

Our family had a great time riding down Haleakala volcano! Our guide, Johnny, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Two of us were a little nervous, but once we got used to the ride and used the brakes like Johnny told us, it was a wonderful experience. My husband and son said this was their favorite activity in Maui!
