Chow Foo - Pakuranga

I have visited Chow Foo three times since it opened and have always enjoyed their dim sum. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the food, both from the a la carte dishes and the dim sum trolley offerings. I particularly liked: 1. The dim sum trolleys with a variety of favorites 2. The extensive a la carte menu, perfect for large groups 3. The reasonable prices for dim sum during lunchtime 4. The restaurant's new and fresh interior, a welcome change from other Chinese restaurants in Auckland 5. The bustling atmosphere with local customers during lunchtime, indicating that the place is a popular choice for yum cha 6. The unique $2 charge for a special chili soy sauce, which was delicious with hints of sweet Chinese wine and a light oil base 7. The flavorful and not-too-oily roasted dishes, especially the ha gao. Overall, I was glad we chose to stop by Chow Foo for yum cha today.

We recently dined at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and we order from here frequently. The only drawback I would mention is that it is quite pricey compared to other restaurants offering similar portion sizes.
