Bidra med feedbackWhat a gem! My husband and I went looking for ?something different? and this taste from the islands did not disappoint! Best Chicken Curry we?ve ever had! The place was small, but super clean. Friendly staff, Bella was our delightful waitress! Greatlocal family business.
This is a unique and flavorful experience of a locally owned and operated restaurant. I met the chef and was invited with no expectations. The incredible smells coming from this kitchen smacked us in the face as soon as we opened the door. The waitstaffis so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and decorated in bright, cheerful colors. The beautifully plated food wasdevoured before I could even capture a picture but it wouldn?t do the flavors justice. Let me assure you that it is ALLdelicious but you just must to go try Sylvain?s out for yourself. Edited: Went back to get a picture.
We have tried a lot of food to see how it was eating, how we are here. the mais flourbrei was very good – the big was huge – to be honest, between probably 2 or 3 people. we also ordered a dhalpuri – that was delicious. I'm sorry I have to share this with my husband! I could have eaten all this, but then maybe I wouldn't have been in a position for something else. that would have been a scandal! we ordered a Jamaican bark patty and a veggie patty, with 2 cocosbrotes. they were apparently made of coke bread, so that they were compensated by the levy of 2 additional beef patents. while I really wanted Coco-Brot, at tasting the patties, I'm not sorry! I had ordered a fried farewell, but at his place they sent me a baker. that was perhaps not in order with some ppl, bc they expected a discharge. but this strange the only restaurant I can find in our opposite, which even knows what a little bit is, much less make them so fantastic. so I liked to accept the substitution. and finally when I speak of bakers, my man got the salt fish and baked. He hadn't done it since his own mother made it over 20 years ago. he hardly said a word when he was eating (a safe sign of his deliciousness) and when it was done, he looked so sad that it left. but his might have been so happy, he said, if it had been another, he would have begourned. I have a taste before the sharp pfeffer sauce hit the food, and I can also testify how good it was. if they can, they'll give it a try. I will also try to get some of their salt-fishing and destiny. it was what I originally wanted to order, but I didn't see it today in the menu. I also ordered a burrito – that was quite large, quite tasty, and a good bargain for the price! I absolutely gave these 5 stars. the food was fantastic, very authentic. and while some of the things were pricier than I would like (the dhalpuri was $4.99, but was big enough to share) the bakery and salt fish was just $8.99, and they have some great lunch special for under $11! we have found our new site!

Had a nice meal with my kids. The woman who waited on us was super friendly. The salt fish and ackee was very good, and the Haitian beef patties were great. The dining area was bright and clean. We definitely plan on returning.
