Flavors - Palm Desert

We are from WV and asked a place where would be a good place to get pizza? You recommended Papa Dan's pizza. It was not far from where we were at JW Marriott Resort and Spa. Our server was an elderly lady, can't remember her name. She was very nice and the food was great! We're here a few more days and we could just go back.

This is one of our favorite pizza places when we are staying for 2 weeks at the Westin Rancho Mirage every March. Nice Italian Cuisine atmosphere. Tables are close. Outdoor seating available. Nice starter of warm bread, fresh garlic olive oil. We had the thin crust Sausage, Onion Pepper with was perfect. Friendly service.

We won a gift certificate from playing trivia so decided to check this lovely restaurant out. Our food was simply divine. I had three Papa Dan special and my husband had pasta puttanesca. We both loved our food. The staff was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back

We had good experience eating here at this cozy pizza parlor I would say it’s great for families. We have 3 kids and stopped for dinner on a road trip. There are many options on the menu. I had the mushroom ravioli with meat sauce which was good, but we all really enjoyed the pizza (Dan’s Specialty ! Some other things we noticed and liked Servers and staff were really nice There was outdoor seating available and didn’t have to wait long for a table They warm/lightly toast the bread and serve with fresh crushed garlic (we love garlic! and of course butter We also ordered a Ceasar salad and they brought out chilled plates so we could all share without us asking

Papa Dan's Pizza and pasta is the very best in the desert. We had the beef lasagna and salad! The food was fantastic and I highly recommend coming here!! Please ask for Gus! He will go above and beyond making sure that you are well taken care of!! Come and see for yourself! Thank you kindly!
