Bidra med feedbackThis place used to be great, but now it feels like it “uses you,” it took 20 min to take our order. Our waitress claimed it was her last day, but her service was definitely would make this her last day to work if she wasn’t leaving. Not only did she simultaneously talk with us and on the phone, she also yelled in front of our face to her co-workers across the restaurant, it is obvious that this place is going downhill after the pandemic. Only 2 servers in a full house, not to mention we never had our drinks refilled, we had to get up and ask them for a box and our check or we would have been waiting for another 30 min. The bias was clear, we were a typical Asian family and her service and tone changed when a white family came and sat right next to our booth. The whole time we were just irritated, never even came to check on us, it seemed our waitress spent her time with only the white people in general. Never coming back again.
Your average diner really. Nothing really stands out about it. Food is decent. Not particularly great but not objectionable. I will say the staff is very, very friendly and attentive, which is this restaurant's biggest asset. Large parking lot since it's located inside a huge strip mall area. A pleasant experience but nothing incredibly memorable.
Food was great and came out at a decent time as well as busser/ drink guy was very friendly. However younger Hispanic lady was very rude yelling across the restaurant the whole time to other co workers, treating customers with a big attitude, and also slamming and throwing things around. We sat at the bar style seating and there was several times we thought we were going to get food thrown at us from her being in such a rush. Need more staffing or for this lady to relax a bit.
If you want a friendly, no frills place for a great breakfast this is it. Staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was great I had spinach and feta omelette (which could have fed 3 it was so big), my husband had the Carne Asada scramble and says it was tasty. The only place in the Desert that knows tea is made with boiling water rather than warm so its definitely a place to return to. Nice outdoor patio area would be nicer with some plants and umbrellas.
Food was great but the service really left something to be desired. No greeting or welcoming, very short when taking our order and lacking any friendly type of service. Our server seemed to be so annoyed by our presence that it felt uncomfortable placing our order. Turkey melt was delicious and the chicken Caesar salad was huge and flavorful.
