Wait. What? Soul Food in the Desert? Outstanding food! My wife and I found this place and they have amazing food. We ordered fried chicken, spare ribs, greens, mac cheese, red beans and rice and corn bread and EVERY item was perfect. Seasoned,cooked right and flavorful! You will not go wrong having a meal from here. The building is a small little place but the food is Fantastic! DO NOT judge this book by its cover .

This is the best hole in the wall in Palm Springs! I had a craving for fried chicken and found this place. I order the 3-piece chicken wing lunch which came with potato salad baked beans. All components were delicious! The chicken was moist and not greasy, must try! Baked beans were out of this world!

Quite literally the definition of a hidden gem! tucked away in a little plaza next to the barber shop, this place serves some of the best bbq i’ve ever had. be prepared to wait around 30 mins for your meal since they make it right to order. call in ahead of time if you can. the ribs, collard greens, baked beans and cornbread were excellent must try!

I love this random spot! We called ahead of time and ordered collared greens, macaroni and cheese, bbq ribs, catfish, and red beans and rice. Everything was home cooked. In 30 minutes, everything was cooked and so good! My absolute favorite, collard greens. Just the way friends of mine from the south make. This is a great little southern cooking spot.

Thank God Google Maps and reviews. We would never have found this hidden jewel without it! We called to place our order, which was a great time saving. Unfortunately, they were from most of the things we wanted to order, but what they had... amazing! Cornbread was moist, the roasted chicken was amazing! The fried shrimps were the best I ever had. Perfect bread. We had the delicious Mac and cheese and the covered green. Very cheap and 10/10 worth a visit!!
