Bidra med feedbackThe food is good but the portions are not, for the price point. I will still eat there though.
Chicken and turkey tasted like processed meat. Yuk. Sides just ok. Pork ribs looked like best thing on menu. No beef ribs. Phil's BBQ in San Diego County, now That's Bbq, Dickeys could learn from them.
Just ok bbq. Not worth the price for just ok. If this is bbq Texas style, I'll just stick with Californian bbq. I had the pulled pork sandwich; made it a meal (add 2 sides), coleslaw baked beans. The sandwich was good, the sides not so much. The coleslaw was ok but the beans tasted like it was from a can (and not a good brand of bean from a can). The service I received was mixed. Then man serving me was gruff with an sour face; not sure if he was working here on an prison release program or just having a bad day; definitely does not belong in customer service. However, the young woman who rang up my order was super friendly and very helpful. She definitely belongs in customer service. I'm adding a star just for her. I know bbq can be pricey, but for what you get at Dickey's, I just didn't see the value.
It was pretty nice to get our food right away. The staff was great and we all enjoyed everything on our plates. I'm not a big Okra fan, but I tried a friend fried okra and it was really good and creamy spinach is usually not something I get, but I really like Dickey's. It was a good price and we were all full.
These are the best colonies in the valley. Great staff and good food. They really seem to care about the customers and were very COVID-compliant since the first day they were opened again. This dry BBQ will be improved by the sauce, so be safe and add some. The okra is a specialty and hard to find so that we really enjoy it! Although it has now gone the way of COVID and I doubt that they will ever bring the ice machine back, but that was also really great!
