Afghan Darbar Restaurant Takeaway

I took a visitor from Australia and one from Fiji for a trip around Wellington, and we stopped for lunch at Afghan Darbar Restaurant. It was our first time trying Afghan cuisine, and we were all delighted by how delicious the food was. The staff member who served us was very friendly and made our experience even better.

The food was amazing! We started with Bolani as an appetizer, and then had the chicken kebab served with rice and salad, along with falooda for dessert. The falooda is a must-try! The Bolani was simple yet packed with flavor. Overall, it was an awesome experience. If you're looking to try something different and enjoy delicious cuisine, this is the place to go!

The food was absolutely amazing! It was one of the best dishes I've had in New Zealand. The ingredients were fresh, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful.

I have had food from various Afghan restaurants in the past and this place is definitely top tier. Delicious halal food, good portions, reasonable prices, and friendly people. Ask for sauce on the side. I will come back again soon.

I have tried almost everything on the menu and it all tastes great. We go there often and the food (the real food not the kebab wraps and stuff) is actually really yummy! We always choose a cooked meal. They have options for everyone in the family with all different dietary needs. It's one of our go-to eateries in Palmy.
