The Elm - Palmerston North

I didn't expect anything special and was pleasantly surprised with the café. The pancakes I eat were perfect! The service was fast and very good. I was impressed!

Wow, The Elm Cafe is a must for Palmy locals or visitors. A relaxing vibe, fantastic food and delicious coffee. A special mention to barista Max, who never fails to deliver a 10/10 coffee.

Second time to the Elm, this time for breakfast. Wasn't as crowded as it was for lunch. Brilliant service, Grace took our coffee orders, gave us a little time to study the menu and was back with our drinks and to take the meal orders. I broke my usual big breakfast order for the French toast. Was not disappointed and the guys commented I had the biggest breakfast. Three long pieces of French toast with half a banana and a liberal pile of bacon with a small bowl of maple syrup. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be bringing guests here for a morning meal. The hot chocolate was also delicious.

Tried it, loved it. Fantastic service, vibrant atmosphere, great food, ticked all the boxes. Went for breakfast, and had a good selection to choose from, they were kind enough to offer GF swaps on the French Toast and the Big Breakfast. Great quality ingredients, quick turn around, and busy but not crammed, so clearly the locals know to come here.

Great staff who sorted out a miscommunication very well. The menus are chock full of tasty items and our group had a great time. Kudos to the chef and wait staff!
