Indian Flavours - Palmerston North

It took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive, but all three main dishes were delicious (excluding the samosas, which I recommend trying from the Indian food stall in the Plaza instead). The 'chef's special' was particularly outstanding. I must give a big thumbs up to their desserts, which are quite unique for a restaurant to offer. There is no free parking during the day, but it shouldn't be an issue for dinner since there are plenty of on-street parking options nearby. The interior is spacious and can accommodate large groups. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I would highly recommend this place. One note: we ordered 'medium to hot' spice levels, but everything ended up tasting mild or sweet. Next time, we’ll go for the hot option.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Indian Flavours! Despite the cold, rainy night, the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The hostess was delightful, always checking in to ensure we were happy and enjoying ourselves, all without being intrusive. We ordered an appetizer platter, a meat entrée, two mains, and some cocktails, and everything we had was absolutely delicious. By the end of our meal, we were wonderfully full, and the portion sizes were just right. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We stopped in for dinner the other night and had an incredibly delicious meal complimented by the great service. The food was so tasty and the service was extremely friendly; we left with full stomachs and big smiles. I would definitely recommend this place especially for the lamb shanks, butter chicken, and chocolate naan!

Wow a delicious $20 buffet that we just happened to see as we did a quick tour of PN after collecting friends off the plane before heading home to Wanganui. I have to say some of the best curries I have had in flavour! All the staff were exceptional, welcoming and friendly... I am keen to go back and try the menu as it looked amazing too!
