The 40-minute wait ended up being an hour! When our order finally arrived, we found that two pizzas and three sides were missing. My wife's veggie lovers pizza, which was supposed to have a standard crust, came with a San Francisco-style sourdough base that was thick and chewy instead of light and crispy. My pizza, which was also a sourdough base, was just as stodgy and chewy, and it was missing the BBQ sauce that was supposed to be on it. To top it all off, the chips were lukewarm. It was a very disappointing experience at Pizza Hut in Palmerston North, and many customers were visibly upset while waiting for their orders tonight.

The service at this restaurant is unacceptable. Management needs to reassess their training, especially if the person at the register is overcharging customers. It makes me wonder who else may be getting charged incorrectly.

The place was VERY unhygienic. The worker kept coughing on his hands and made lots of orders. Their uniform was very dirty too. Also, it takes a while for the phone to start ringing. I would now prefer to go to Domio rather than Pizza hut now. Dominos is way cheaper and makes better pizza with a better deal.

Our last couple orders have been fine, not amazing but average enough to satisfy a craving for pizza. However today they forgot to give the driver our drink, and one of our pizzas was inedible, an excessive amount of cheese had been added (and I love cheese so usually don’t complain if there’s some extra. but this made the base inedible due to being extremely undercooked. Requested double Mayo, pizza came COVERED in Mayo, couldn’t even see the toppings. Took it back to the store after they FAILED to pick up their phone. If I wanted to drive I would have got a pickup order. Staff argued that the pizza was fine and after a huge hassle finally got the pizza remade, only slightly better. Some staff training and care for your customers would go a long way.
