Checkers - Palmetto

Stood at walk-up order took 50 minutes to make 2 burgers and 2 fries. One employee stood around texting on the phone while others worked. Burgers were soggy, and fries were cold. This was my first and probably last visit. Had interesting conversations with other customers. We started to walk across the street and get pizza to snack on while waiting. Praise the Lord!

Almost impossible to get help from employees at this location. They walk around like they don't see you. Rude, disorganized just awful.

I have been visiting this particular Checkers location for nearly 6 years and have never had a negative experience. The food is always prepared correctly, hot, and delicious, and all the employees I have encountered have been respectful. Service is always fast, even when there is a long line. I have dined here during lunch, dinner, and late-night hours without any issues. This is surprising since I typically avoid other Checkers locations, despite living in Bradenton near Sarasota.

Yikes, dude was so mad I added a ice cream, also was sweeping to handling my food without washing his

1st time at Checkers. (Palmetto) Waited over 10 minutes at the walk up order window. No one acknowledged we were standing there. Knocked on window, the employee said he couldn’t take our order. Didn’t know how to run the register. The employee who did, walked by 4-5 times. Never even looked at us. Manager came out. She never even looked at us either. Cars that got in the drive thru line after we were at the window were getting their food before us. Left with no food. Why have a walk up window if you can’t get service from it. Shouldn’t be open.
