Bidra med feedbackThis is basically a special butcher shop where you only find products produced by them or trusted Km 0 operations. They are trying out for the summer to setup a few tables for dining outside of the shop. We had a tender like butter Scottona steak and a charcuterie board with homemade selections of local suino Nero pancetta and prosciutto, buffalo bresaola drizzled with their own EVOO. They also served a taste of their own pecorino cheese which was great. We finally met Peppino who has the deepest passion for his profession. He has worked in a butcher shop since he was 8 years old. He is a great example for Calabrian restaurateurs of how to preserve and promote the local products and tradition. I can definitely say that he is prepared for the connoisseur and the more sophisticated tourist.
