Vero - Palo Alto

It's been a while since I come down to Palo Alto, a lot more new restaurants.

Found this little gem in Palo Alto when my boyfriend and I were walking around We wanted something local and craving for Italian.

Okay you may not believe me, but after trying everything (natural) to get my daughter to come early, Vero finally induced my labor with their eggplant

Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????

This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
