Ourem 88 - Palolem

We read all the beautiful reviews on this place so we booked two nights in advance in order to check it out.We had a wonderful dinner for two.The atmosphere is lovely, Brett, the owner/waiter makes you feel like home.Highly recommend, a must visit place in Palolem

Was recommended by friends and the reviews here. Not disappointed. Excellent food, great service and nice intimate atmosphere. A lovely change from the beach restaurant fare just round the corner. We had to book almost a week in advance, so be warned. Really worth the effort though, highly recommended.

What a wonderful Gem. The food is absolutely wonderful and very well presented on the plat. The service is excellent. The owner is actually the waiter and you can tell that he likes what he is doing. The owners are English (forget all your past English food experience ...) and the service has a great English touch.I highly recommend this restaurant. I went there because of the great reviews in TripAdvisor and were not disappointed.

The restaurant claimed to be vegetarian/vegan friendly, but when we arrived, the owner/manager informed us that most of the dishes were not vegetarian. He also mentioned that the supposed veg dishes mostly contained meat. It seemed like he was trying to discourage us from dining there. We wasted 1.5 hours traveling to the restaurant, only to find out that the description was misleading.

This charming restaurant, owned by a British couple, is a must-visit when in Palolem. The cozy atmosphere and amazing menu make it worth a visit. Don't hesitate to go, you won't be let down.
