This restaurant is closed. I was planning to have lunch there today, but unfortunately, it was not open. It's disappointing to see another great place fall victim to the pandemic.

Great quality food with the best sandwiches in the region made with fresh homemade bread. Prices are a bit high, but the Palouse Caboose down the block is ridiculously high as well. Pizzas are inventive and great quality. Staff is friendly and efficient. Why the one star? First, their hours are unpredictable. Seems like they are open random days and hours. A couple of times I would check their hours on their website, then drive into Palouse to find them closed. Second, they plastered a bunch of BLM signs in the windows a few months ago to advertise to their customers that they don't understand reality and are supporting an organization that hates capitalism and democracy. I refuse to support any business that supports a racist organization that advocates violence against police officers and anarchy. I still have the choice to eat where I want, and The Congress will not get another dime from me or my family.

This place is amazing! Honestly, some of the best food and drinks you'll find anywhere. Everything is homemade and handcrafted, and it’s truly excellent. The owner is always in the kitchen, and she has the best staff around. I feel sorry for anyone who misses out on The Congress!

Found this yummy joint thanks to Yelp- we were lookin for a good pizza beer spot on Sunday afternoon, and glad we picked this place! Their crust is good but not too thick, pepperoni sausage pizza had hundreds of toppings, very meaty delish! Emmy Vanessa helped us out made sure we were taken care of, super fast service and never an empty glass lol We had a great time and already recommended The Congress to friends that live nearby :

Excellent lunch, but needs improvement. My daughter and I shared a St. Elmo wrap. We both thought it had good components, but couldn't see or taste the turkey or cream cheese. It also wouldn't stay closed. The service was great! We'll come back another time to try something else on the menu.
