Old Mexico - Panama City

I just had a meal with my friend at this charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, which really adds to its authenticity. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Our waiter made sure we were always stocked with chips and salsa and kept our water filled. Our total bill was $20, and they also serve dinner options. I absolutely love this place, and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Good Mexican cuisine oriented to American palates (Burritos, Fajitas, Tacos, etc.). You make the standard chips and salsa thing when you sit down. Salsa is very good with some heat. The service is very good. The servers are friendly and make you want again for another meal.

Update 3/1/19. Lynn Haven Old Mexico is now back open!! Please support Hurricane Michael recovery by enjoying delicious Mexican food! Not sure about 15th Street but it looks like repairs have been made. This Old Mexico and the one in Lynn Haven are our absolute favorites. My wife and I ate in Mexico (Cozumel) and we thought Old Mexico's food was better. The way the food is seasoned is delicious and the portions are generous. I have tried many different dishes and all of them are awesome. I love the hot and spicy burrito and the burrito verde. My wife loves their chimichanga with their crispy edges. The prices are very reasonable and their staff are always fast and friendly. An absolute must for Mexican food lovers!!

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food quality is outstanding, and all our dishes arrive at the same time, just as we ordered. The tea is great, and they serve generous amounts of tequila in the margaritas. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience.

Our chicken and steak fajitas were flavorful and tender, with a hint of spice from the salad that made them delightful. My friend thought the salsa tasted like it came from a store and wasn’t impressive, but I enjoyed it. The waitstaff was friendly and the service was quick, but the place felt quite empty. The atmosphere was rather dull.
