Jo-ed's Bomber Inc - Pantego

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and my husband raved about his sandwich, calling it the best he’s ever had. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was pleased that they didn’t have gluten-free bread available, but they kindly made me a lettuce wrap instead. I enjoyed a combination of chicken and tomato wrapped in lettuce, and they generously added avocado at no extra charge since I kept it simple. The prices were also reasonable. We love discovering these hidden gem eateries!

I saw a review that claimed this restaurant has poor-quality meat and cheese, but that's simply not the case. The reviewer seems to be upset about the establishment's political views. I think it's unfair to try to bring a place down just because of that. My son and I ordered the triple supreme bomber, and it was an incredible sandwich—definitely one of the best I’ve had. The staff was also fantastic; they were very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great sandwich. Just a heads-up: if you're easily offended by patriotic decorations or flags, this might not be the place for you.

I've been visiting this sub shop for years, and it's my absolute favorite. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I love that nothing has changed since I first started coming here—it's great to see that they remain committed to their values and quality.

I work here. Have worked here for quite a while. Feels like a work family. I enjoy listening to all the customers speak about how they used to come here as a child with their friends, relatives or parents. So sweet. Im so proud to be part of such a Pantego legacy. First off…don’t take anything that the last review mentioned. What makes “The Bomber” special is the lettuce, pickle relish, chopped onion, tomato slices and the oil and vinegar. The rude review from Ms Owens posted a picture of a plain and dry sub.If you’re not going to order it the way Ed Jo made them from the 60’s…stay at home and make a Bologna sandwich.These remind me of growing up in Arlington. Live in McKinney now, no family in The Big A anymore but at least once a year, will make a Bomber run. Always good, never disappointed. Wife loves the Meatball.
