There is nothing better than relaxing on this beach, reading a book, and listening to people playing music and laughing in the gentle breeze. The water is wonderful, but be mindful of your surroundings and don't swim too far out as there is a busy channel in front of the beach with speeding jet skis. You can also see sailboats and enjoy a phenomenal sunset view. Make sure to have proper shade or sunscreen to avoid getting sunburned. While the beach is beautiful with coconut palms, be cautious of falling coconuts. Showers are available nearby, along with public toilets, a skate park, and even a taco truck. Highly recommend trying the Uru-Fries at the taco truck.
Large white sandy beach approx. 30 minutes drive on a roller from the harbour of mo’orea when they go the right one when they leave the harbour. Of course, they can turn left because there is only one road that goes around the island so that they come to the beach anyway, but I think it takes 15/20 minutes longer.
That is a beautiful public beach. we have driven it several times. the beach/Ozean is beautiful. then, when they turn, they get stunning views of the mountains. many parking places. clean toilets. great place for a picnic or hanging on the beach. I'm not sure, but I think that's cooking. we were surprised to see a small cruise ship in the harbour. you have some time, a nice place to spend some time. limited seating, but much shadow.
This beach had a great snorkeling free. we brought our own snorkeling equipment. free parking. when we were there, there were many natives I love because there is a more authentic sense of culture. there are some picnic tables.
You find there a lot of space in shadow, perfect for families with kids. Good place also for snorkeling.
