Carbone - Paradise

Loved the atmosphere and the music was fabulous. The wait staff was excellent. The pasta I ordered was not good. My friend ordered the same pasta and agreed that it wasn’t good. That was the only disappointment.

Finally tried Carbone and was extremely disappointed with the service. Such a shame because the food was delicious. The service just kinda ruined the experience. Busboy was great, but our server was snooty and messed up by making a couple of odd assumptions. He recommended we do family style (which we already were planning to do) but we waited 45 minutes after our Saadi we’re done, before inquiring about our second course, the pastas. He tells us he assumed we wanted everything at once since we were all “splitting “ everything. Why would you assume that?? If there was any question he should’ve clarified but no we don’t want our second courses stacked out with our entrees. We were the first table to be seated and the last to get our dinners. Nobody even apologized. They just brought out complimentary meatballs with our entrees which made no sense. My brother had ordered a nice bottle of wine for the table at the beginning but they didn’t bring it out. After about twenty minutes of wondering what was taking so long, we asked and server acted appalled that we would ask and tells us he assumed we’d want it with dinner. Again that’s an odd assumption to make. We spent way too much money for such low grade service. And when it came time to finish up we weren’t even offered coffee. He just plopped the check and credit card machine for us to figure out on our own. This was a special occasion dinner and we were patient and in good spirits but the service was a shame and I felt embarrassed that i brought my family here and let them spend so much money here on the eve of my wedding. First and last time any of us will be dining at this not so fine dining establishment

We were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. The waiter addressed all questions and concerns we had about the menu. He interacted well and did so with a smile. The food was amazing. I had the lamb chops, which was cooked to perfection. Overall experience was great.

We went for dinner at it was absolutely one of the best places and meals I have had from all my trips to Vegas. I am making it a must eat place when I return and encouraging others too go! I will be replicating the spicy vodka rigatoni at home. Score 10/10!
