Bidra med feedbackHost, server, whole staff - all amazing what I've been working in restaurants since 1994, I'm a culinary teacher. The duck was the best I ever had. How seriously knocked out of the park at every corner. Thank you.
This was our first time in Momofuko Las Vegas. I had seen David Chiang on Top Chef, his Netflix specialty and his restaurants... It was time to try this place. On arrival the hostess was nice and the Lord who sat us was involved. We sat in this upper part of the restaurant overlooking the stripes. We ordered both bao appetizers and raw oysters, everything was excellent. My favorite was the spicy fog I couldn't get enough of. Service was good, not great. We will definitely be back for food and ambience.
Five stars for food and service! Both excellent! Three stars for ambience, just because we sat in a strange upper floor section that was obviously not part of the original restaurant, so we sat at a table that had the same chairs you would find in a hotel banquet room. And there was an old Chinese red carpet and these wooden boats for the decoration you eat sushi. It was super strange compared to the mood from the regular dining room. That was very modern and cool. I felt like we missed all the experience in this unusual area. Not sure why we sat there, it was a Saturday night at 8 a.m. and the restaurant wasn't even half full of the time we were there.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. The family-style meals were a pleasant surprise. Although the wedding party on the second floor was very noisy, the delicious food made up for any inconvenience caused by the noise.
Pork steak was not cooked enough, very chewy and sous chef agreed. Truffle ramen tasty but not hot Porky belly bun was great
