Bidra med feedbackAdam, is one of the best bartender/waiters I've ever met. If there was an award for excellent service and movie knowledge Adam should win the award. One of the best experiences I've had in a long time and I travel all over the world. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Sigh. We came here several years ago and the food was stellar. We decided to staycation at the Omni again this year and could not wait to eat at Prado again. Oh how times have changed... The service was fine. Our only issue was with the food. We ordered: Pan de Manchego The bread came out cold. So we asked our server if it was supposed to come out cold. He said no. Took it back, brought a new one, and the outside was warm, but the inside was still cold. Cold bread. Yum. Queso Fritto Fried cheese. Ok. But it was like elevated mozzarella sticks. Meh. And the romesco sauce was tasteless. Patatas Bravas The sauce was a weird smoky tomato sauce (not good). The chorizo (IMO) could not save the dish. The flavors together were weird and off putting. Hamachi Crudo This dish was laughable. The plating was an afterthought for sure. The fresno peppers were just non spicy pickled jalapenos. Womp. And the fish was eh. Gazpacho I LOVE gazpacho. And the watermelon was a nice touch. But something was missing. It was light and fresh, but lacking in flavor. Heirloom Tomato Nothing to write home about. Tomatoes weren 't cold. Burrata was ok. The saba could have saved this dish, but it too was flavorless. Mixed Greens We added shrimp to this salad, but the shrimp did not taste right. We each ate one and let our server and the manager know that we would not be eating the rest. They comped this one, luckily. The rest of the salad was good, but, again, nothing major. For the prices you 're paying, the food is really disappointing. I hope it gets back to its better days...and fast.
An absolutely amazing dinner experience here! Service was 10/10, food was phenomenal (get the branzino), drinks were great and hospitality was fantastic. We sat on the patio overlooking the fountain and the sunset views are def worth the heat! Will definitely be coming back.
I 've dined at Prado a few times as well as their bar, M Bar. The food was remarkable the service was spectacular. The food presentation was stunning, but more than just looking creative, the flavor combinations, pairing of ingredients balance of textures was brilliant. I kept thinking, This is Michelin level food. I later find out that the Executive Chef did come from France where he was a chef in Michelin star restaurants. The ambiance of Prado is elegant but comfortable with soft Spanish instrumental music and a staff that is gracious upbeat. The hostess was personable with a super welcoming personality which sets the positive vibes right there . The busser actually server assistant was at the table immediately filing the water glass, letting me know who my server would be and that he was on the way. The server, Chris, recommended the perfect tapas, starters, and main dishes I 'll list all of the top choices below for ya. , and he checked back to make sure everything came out perfectly, as did his assistant when he refilled my water glass. Even the maitre d/manager went around to each table and asked how everything was. So, let 's say that you look at the menu and think, as one reviewer said, There 's nothing 'normal ' on the menu that I would eat. You don 't like Spanish food or seafood. Then you are going to love this translated menu here, because there are SO many choices on their menu that are All American, or that you love at your favorite Italian restaurants. I mean if you like pasta, marinara sauce a Caesar salad, steak potatoes, chicken green beans...then I got you. The photos are here, as well. You 'd probably skip right over Albondigas, under Small Plates, but they are meatballs on super creamy polenta. That 's an appetizer on most Italian menus it fantastic, So what 's the Tomato Jamón Brado? That 's the tomato sauce. Jamón is like prosciutto but better, and brodo is broth. Under Large Plates, I totally blew right past Vegan Seafood Pasta. But, it 's Pappardelle pasta Spanish sofrito sauce like Marinara sauce . I would just personally ask the chef for the vegan seafood on the side, so I could try it. And I 'd definitely have their Caesar salad with that. Hanger steak It 's like the sister of Filet Mignon, Tender more flavorful, with an orange Demi glacé spring onion pistou just like Pesto without the pine nuts . It came with asparagus and purple Pototo Mousselini Purée . All that you taste is CREAM, and the texture is so smooth, I swear they sent it through a tamis sieve twice. I could 've eaten a bowl of it! Burrata Heirloom Tomato Salad It 's like an Italian Caprese Salad but so elevated : Burrata Cheese topped with Himalayan black salt to bring out the flavor, the freshest organic Heirloom tomato cut in fork friendly pieces nstead of sliced and those are topped with pickled red onions The acidity and flavor brings the tomato to new heights. frisée lettuce, balsamic reduction, and wait for it, the crunch and flavor of chopped pistachios! Their filet mignon is topped with a sauce called Haron Whiskey au poive. That 's a cream sauce with a 12 yr old whiskey! At the bar lounge there, you can get the tapas, flatbread, Caesar salad, desserts, or what I got, the PRADO burger. This is no ordinary bacon cheeseburger. The cheese is whipped Brie, and the bacon is Jamón. Remember, it 's like Proscuitto but not as sweet or soft. The bar has craft cocktails that are really cool, beer, wine and your favorite brand of spirits all of the way to Whistle Pig Boss Hog Macmallan M. See my photos of the beautiful lounge with warm lighting and brown leather couches/chairs. Try the flatbread, if you 're in the mood for pizza. You can also sit right up by the fire oven dine. Caesar salad would be perfect with that also. While other people in your party are choosing the Spanish tapas, you can suggest an American Italian tasting tapa that 's perfect for 2 or 3 people to have 2 potato cubes each .The PATATAS BRAVAS is so beautiful. Around the perimeter of a mini pan, are 6 potato cubes about 1.5 cubes that are pan fried just like French Fondant Potatoes, without the herbs, or thick French fries . Leaning against each is a slice of Chiorzo. Each potato cube is topped with a dot of garlic aioli. Take the bite of each with some of the Salmorra sauce that 's under them which tastes like a slightly smokey, garlic tomato sauce . It tasted similar Marinara sauce. Desserts: once again, elevated not ordinary: Lemon Cheesecake with Bourbon Blueberries. And do you know what Crema Catalana is? ... Crème Brūlée ! 'Told ya I got you! So now that you 're an expert in Spanish culinary translation, haha, go for tapas and cocktails, or dinner dessert. The view of the moon over the mountains, the colored lights illuminating the palm trees, the fountains flowing out front make the evening feel like a vacation.
My sister and I took my mom to a spa day here yesterday and all I can say is WOW! We got the Escape Package and it was one of the greatest days we have had in years. My massage was done by Michael, and I can honestly say that guy is talented. He took years of tension off. He was very professional and basically figured out my life story through my body. No joke. I was amazing. You will understand once you book him (do it ASAP, you're welcome haha ; I woke up today feeling like a brand new person, relaxed, stress free (which is like unheard of for me and ready to take on a Monday workday. If you go there, request him and just let him do the magic. After our massages, we had some sweet manis and pedis. The girls there were dolls]. All three of them were warm and friendly and did a spectacular job. The zero gravity chairs for the pedi were SO comfy. Afterwards, we ate at the Joya pool and soaked up the sun. The atmosphere and views are out of this world. I am an AZ native and it still felt like I was in a different place. The food was great. The service from every single staff member we encountered was 5 star. I couldn't have imagined a better day.
