Murdock's Catfish - Paragould

Excellent food here! I didn't try anything I don't like here. My favorite is the Pick 2 with Wels-Crackedad (Crayfish) tails. You need to get ASK grilled instead of fried, but it's worth it! Peace is also good. For non-fishers, the chicken strips are also quite good.

1st time visitor from Mississippi. Grease today was obviously old as my fish was a chocolate colored type brown instead of a golden color I'm accustomed to when cooked with fresh oil and portion sizes on the sides are kinda comical. Appears to be kid menu sized portions.. and everything is so salty? Why mask the flavor with so much salt?

Went through the drive thru on 8/17/19 and had the most absolute worst experience. So bad, I will NEVER eat here again. The teenage girl working the window had the most horrible attitude......pretty much like she hates her job. Anyways, the food was OK at best, but her service and attitude was so terrible, it set a bad example for the restaurant as a whole.

Eat here at your own risk. Extremely filthy environment. The floor was slick with grease like the mop was dipped in the grease fryer. The salt shaker was nasty and sticky didn't know this till I grabbed it and had to peel it off my fingers. The air was filled with smoke and grease like the vent a hood in the kitchen wasn't working. I honestly don't know how this place is still open.

I ate there Saturday afternoon and was extremely ill for the next 3 days, I had to miss 2 days of work so the meal actually cost me around 300.00$, I will never return I wish I would have googled Murdocks catfish Hepatitis A outbreak before I ever stopped there. My kids had chicken are fine but the catfish put me down for going on 4 days, I will be reporting this to the health department.... STAY AWAY!!!!!
