Mi Casita Pop - Paramount

I'm curious about how this place is connected to El Rancho, as I often saw people enjoying hamburgers here. It doesn't quite compare to San Jose, where the local Paramount was bustling. I think I even heard Rigo Tovar's music playing while I just grabbed a Pepsi and contemplated what to order.

Best mole I've ever had! However, it's closed on Mondays, which is a bit surprising. We've been here for breakfast multiple times, and it has never let us down. The café de olla is delicious, and the chilaquiles are fantastic too. Just a heads up: parking is only available on the street, so come prepared. There's also a small shop where you can purchase Mexican items and cookbooks, but it can be a bit pricey in my opinion. If you're visiting, I wouldn't recommend spending on TJ bracelets.

This place has really gone down! The service is terrible and the place was full of flies! Yes flies all over the place and on the tables. As we asked the waitress if we could move she said oh they are everywhere so not really. The food no longer tastes the same and the owners seem to delegate all the cooking and attention to other and more profitable locations. Health department needs to come in and seriously inspect the condition in which they work. Price wise a real joke for the cold and tasteless menu. Staff rude and despot no manager ever there. Just a name now, shameful service indeed.

This place never disappoints..The mole is a must and the queso fundido is so yummy! Can't forget the chia seed lemonade!

Love the mole enchiladas and the enfrijoladas. So far I have enjoyed everything I've tasted here. My favorite is the guayabas with rompope dessert. The food tastes really good. The only complaint I have is that the portions are small probably what we should be eating anyways) and a little overpriced. Maybe if the enfrijoladas, which are just tortillas and a little bit of chorizo weren't so pricey $13-14), I would come here a lot more often. Five stars on the taste of the food, 3 for being pricey.
