Very cool and unexpected bar with a full menu of absinthe and a friendly, multi-lingual bartender.

Wow! An actual absinthe bar! This place is in credible.__They have a huge selection of absinthe.

We came here because this was the place Anthony Bordain came for Absinthe (yes, we are those people).

After the owner's answer, I wanted to add some information, tripadvisor does not allow it, I deleted my opinion to redo one that includes the original notice. I add an info that I didn't think about last time: I think the karaoke catalog is regularly updated because between my last 2 visits it seemed to me to see new tracks. It is rather a good point for the coup. original TEXT: bar to decor and very neat rock/metal atmosphere that offers animations including a rather funny metal karaoke. Unfortunately a few details really didn't give me the urge to come back: the beer out of price for choice and the neighborhood: 9€ the pint of blonde grimbergen, and 7€ the pint of kronenbourg, it is the price paid in the bars extremely bobos or well in very tourist/a little hupped neighborhoods, which is not the case here. Similarly the medieval food, which gave the urge on the map No accompaniment. It starts to be expensive because a plate clearly does not shave a person. I'll report it to the bar without asking for more or more money, just to say it. The server, also very kind, tells me that I'm the first person to talk about it and that we should tell the owner. I doubt it. But he also tells me by showing me the handicraft jars used (yes because there is no kitchen so it is a jar heated in the microwave, which is not reported in advance, but I had been asked, so I knew it by commander) and telling me that they serve the whole jar. This is false. while the card indicates 370g, letting strongly hear that it is the quantity of meat as everywhere, the jars make between 600 and 750g as it is easy to check on the site of the artisanal producer. In addition, several people have confirmed that they have served a little more than half a jar at the table next to it (which would therefore correspond to 370g in all) and for us the rest of the jar. we pay in the end half of jar the original price of the whole jar. I didn't ask for any consideration, the server could have told me that the jars were 700g and that, as written on the map (even if I had misinterpreted) I was used ~350g so half...Finally, karaoke: very nice but also very loud. When you're downstairs, it's to sing or listen to sing but to talk, it's better to go back up. a good catalog, a pity that the DJ/sound manager sometimes chooses to cancel your passage because the song doesn't like it or you're arguing at the time of asking for a piece because he thinks the rotten choice. Finally, this same dj sometimes reserves a song (no problem) and can unfortunately become quite aggressive with customers. I saw him once asking to sing his song and, as in all karaoke, we sung with him (not at the microphone, just in the back of the room) on the chorus. then he leaves the microphone to tell the guys to stop singing, that it's his song there. when he resumes, nothing to do the customers who are there to have fun sing again on the chorus. the dj almost came to hands to ban these people from singing at the same time as he did. In summary (tldr) : nice bar if you want to make a karaoke metal, otherwise for the price and friendliness, prefer the black dog or furious, other famous rock/metal bar whose first makes a pint in happy hour very appreciable and has a real restaurant with kitchen in the background. The owner's RESPONSE: unfortunately, people who cannot read a map are seen. the kro pint is at 5,10 steps 7, otherwise 6,10 after 1h30 of the mat' records 1 € for the ecocup rendered at the end of service, as for the grim. What I denounce is rather the value-for-price ratio: it's much too expensive for a small amount of microwave heat. the price would have been acceptable to me if the dish had been cooked or served in respectable quantity but it was not the case of either of them so I note here that I find the practice abusive.

Even if this place is not entirely dedicated to the green fairy, it has a very well provided map in absinthe: more than 60 different kinds for all tastes! an atypical atmosphere certainly but which seduced me. I'll be back!
