Sourire Le Restaurant

Our prix fixe lunch was just perfect. The waiter was courteous and prompt (and spoke excellent English). The dishes were unusual, creative, and delicious. The prices were reasonable. Truly a gourmet dining experience.

Mon palais a vécu une fabuleuse expérience.des amuses bouches aux plats : tout était savoureux.j'ai moins apprécié le dessert mais après autant de plats, je n'avais plus très faim.pour le vin, j'ai découvert un très bon liquoreux bordelais et mon amie un médoc rouge.le service est décontracté : de quoi bien mettre à l'aise les convives ; j'ai bcp apprécié la décoration de la salle ; même les toilettes sont majestueusement décorées !le prix pour le menu gastronomique est peut-être élevé ; un verre de vin pourrait être ouvert pour l'achat de ce menu.ça ne m'empêchera pas de conseiller ce resto autour de moi.la note de 9.5/10 (découverte sur le net) est largement méritée.

Mais y'a quand même un petit quelque chose qui fait que ce n'était pas exceptionnel non plus. Peut être parce qu'il faisait trop chaud (une climatisation pour ce genre de restaurant ne serait pas un luxe). Peut être le service un petit peu désinvolte, en décalage avec la cuisine et le cadre. Peut être un équilibre des saveurs dans l'assiette parfois limite (le petit pois prend facilement le dessus sur un poisson)Pour le prix, on s'attend à un peu mieux.Un menu EPD le soir serait le bienvenu.

We ate here on our way down to the South of France on holiday so were in high spirts. This is a new restaurant and they are trying very hard indeed.Our mains were tagliolini stuffed with cheese in an excellent sauce with chanterelles and hazelnuts, and a beautifully done filet of sea bass accompanied by an impressiove foam, summer peas and baby lima beans. The compound butter with herbs is house made and wonderful. Dessert was a tomato sorbet with strawberries, olives, pistachios, almond crumble and Tuilerie buscuits.It is obvious that chef is trying to get a Michelin star. Some of the food was presented to a very high standard indeed although this was only the second best meal that we had on our trip (so far).Very good indeed.

Went here for a 3+ course lunch with my wife and it's a fantastic place as far as the food and wine are concerned - highly recommended and very good value for money - I will definately book a table here for dinner next time I'm in the area. Do not be scared away but the blant outside and odd location!
