Big Red - Park Hill

We had a wonderful experience at this charming little diner. The prices are very reasonable, and our food was served hot and fresh. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast this morning.

The chicken fried steak was amazing! They also did it perfectly by serving the gravy on top. Thank you!

I understand that you can get busy, but it would be helpful to keep some of the food in an oven rather than letting it sit out. I've been there twice, and both times my stomach hurt afterwards, even though I only had one plate. The food is good, but it sits out too long and can draw in moisture. Moreover, with people sneezing and coughing around the open food, it's not very sanitary. If you're going to keep food out like that, it would be better to have a cover or lid to protect it.

Fast friendly service, food is ok, it's just a small restaurant serving mainly locals.

Well I gave it a second chance. If I have a bad experience at a restaurant I usually try to go back(on the off chance it was just a bad day) but it was the same. I waited 15 minutes for a single pattied burger with normal fixings. 1-5oz cup of potato salad and a large drink. My total came up to 16 dollars. I feel cheated. I feel unpleased. I feel swindled. Why should I pay my hard earned money for frozen patties and terrible service? All I have left to say is I hope they reevaluate the prices and do better with the time. Especially knowing it's frozen meat and pre made sides.
