Raj on Taj Unley - Parkside

We have been sitting here for lunch, it's a past since we had Indian food and this place close. this is our second visit, the first one that was a long time ago for dinner, that we had forgotten about our previous experience here. the restaurant is. very small in the inner, with several tables for two, and 2 3 tables for 4 6 people. the tables for two run along a wall, directly next to the route that customers enter and start into the counter, including the takeover orders. it was much quieter than our previous visit pre covid, which I quickly remembered, was of a constant stream of people who have been destroyed to pick up orders. even if they sit inside, the open kitchen is only a few meters away, and the constant and loud scream of the cook and the waitress that they connected behind the counter at the non-service can also distract. what we have noticed at this last opportunity is how grubby the restaurant appears as a whole. the glass of the front door is grimy, the walls look grimy and greasy stained, and our laminated menu cards were stained by stains of fat and grim, adhering to the plastic. Nevertheless, starving and already on lunch in the day in bombay vintage, which should have been open, but closed and dark inside we pressed with the order, but then moved to an exterior, our movement partly through the persistent cough of one of the chefs. none of the workers wore masks. whatever. the weather outside was quite pleasant and eating that came very fast was hot and in good quantity, and fully fulfills our immediate demand for an Indian food. not sure that we will ever go back if at least a good average in terms of food, but far from everything that is special in all other areas.

They have ordered food from here before, but the meal was unpleasant tonight. sauce in the dressed were so watery and oily, and meal were lukewarm.

As the title says that eating is great, but the restaurant is simply too small for the number of people trapped in it. we had to move the people waiting for their take to sit in our seats. the strange thing is that the load next door is also marked as taj on raj, but he was empty.

We had a very bad experience tonight. we ordered 5 vegetarian curries we are vegetarian via menulog. However, when we opened our delivery, we found that we were given a meat cure instead of dahl. my man called to let them know and. he had a long conversation with a coworker who denies that the order and delivery to her restaurant, despite us prove on the menulog website and delivery note. they took his phone number, and soon after he was called by another employee to deny again that they had made a mistake, not apologetic, and with help of remedy for the situation, say they would us the next time we order from them. we don't want to order from them again. in the meantime his meal was cold. I think it's terrible to send meat to a vegetarian household, and if this mistake happens, the restaurant should be very apologetic.

Fantastic night for the whole family Staff were so friendly food amazing as always Never seen my daughter eat so much!! Staff even offered my youngest a complimentary chocolate on arrival which she thought was the best Goat masala is to die for! Thank you...for a great night and we will be back. An oldie but a goodie and did not disappoint
