Conti's - Pasig

My family ordered a whole chocolate almond sans rival for my birthday, and I have to say, it was just average. Compared to the other cakes I've tried from Konti, it didn't stand out, especially when you consider some of their stellar offerings, like the turtle cake or the classic sans rival.

What we ordered: Mango Royale Salad, Maple Glazed Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Ballotine, Mango Bravo, and a Melon Shake. What I liked: It's not often that you'll find restaurants on this street open at 9 PM, especially on a weekday, yet Conti's is still bustling. I'm no stranger to this establishment, having frequently visited its branch in Greenbelt, but this time I decided to explore more of their menu rather than just sticking to my usual favorites. The Chicken Ballotine was exceptional, and the Baby Back Ribs were also quite good. The meat was tender, though I felt the portion size was a bit small for the price. I wish the Melon Shake had been a tad sweeter as well. A special shout-out to our server, Erwin, who was very busy but still managed to be friendly and attentive throughout our meal.
