Kiler Ridge Olive Farm - Paso Robles

High expectations! I anticipated a group tasting, but instead, we had a one-on-one experience with Bailey, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and charming. She didn't try to push any sales on us, but we ended up purchasing several bottles. We gained a lot of insight and then took a stroll around the orchard (accompanied by the orchard dog) while soaking in the beautiful views. It was definitely one of the best $5 investments I've ever made during a vacation!

My husband and I attended a tasting this weekend. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining how to fully appreciate the flavor profiles of each olive oil. The co-founder and owner, Gregg, even took a moment to chat with us at the end of our tasting. It was a lovely day, pleasantly calm, so we enjoyed our tasting outdoors amidst the beautiful surroundings. We had a great time!

Close friends visited the farm in October '21, buying bottles of olive oil. They gave us a bottle of Cook 's Choice EVO for Christmas, which we finally opened last weekend to use for a special occasion for our guests. We were shocked that the oil tasted bitterly when it stayed on our pallets and burned the back of our throats and made it unusable. I have opened the Kiler Farm website to learn that their refund policy was very restrictive. It also required that I return the bottle to my own cost, within 30 days of purchase, and the postage costs would not be refunded. When reading all reviews, a large majority were from local leaders, and I did not get the impression that they bought oils or other products. Most EVOs we buy (domestic and imported) are in this price of $35. We are very confident in our experience.

MARY is the BOMB. On the recommendation of the friends we went to a tasting on a rainy day and had the best time to cool with Mary. It is good overall, but is also deeply knowledgeable about the farm and the process as it has a hand in every part. The olive oil is great, the best? ve ever had, and the olive oil and the sea salt ice at the end is TRULY TRANSCENDENT, but if we go back the priority of our visit will see Mary again. She's the best part of Paso. You and Iddy and Lorraine should hang up and invite me.

Loved the olive oil tasting, unique alternative (or addition) to wine tastings. Exceeded our expectations! Beautiful scenery, laid back atmosphere, and their olive oil is fantastic.
