Bidra med feedbackBack to the best tacos in LA run two years! Not only do we enjoy packing some tacos of Vic Villa and his family on the BLVD every couple of weeks, but we had them recently in our house in HLP for a post-wdding brunch and all in the presence was blown away! They really love what they do and it shows. We wish them the best in their search for a permanent location in HLP and beyond! CON TACOS TODO ES POSIBLE!
Amazing taste. Totally worth the wait especially if was able to order keto tacos! They can fry cheese in the shape of a Tortilla and make your taco with any of their meats
The kind of place that makes you proud to be an Angeleno. Walking along York, I saw this line start to form and asked around if it was for the taco stand. I got in line and googled Villas Tacos and figured, I’ll stand in line to see what the hype is about. Once the stand opened, the owner welcomed the line, told us what to get if it was our first time, and even led the line in singing Happy Birthday to a few folks in line. Already a good vibe! The line went by fast and I ordered the chorizo queso taco, no crema (I’m a picky eater, I’m sure the crema is delicious . I decided to try the queso taco because I’ve never seen anything like it. The queso taco is made with Monterey Jack (I believe melted on the tortilla, which crisps around the edges. The chorizo was beyond amazing, I would literally eat that by the spoonful. The tacos also come with salsa and pickled hibiscus onions which were delightfully sweet. Next time I will have to try the asada and pollo tacos, the traditional way (which still come with guac for free, which is a huge plus in my book! , as well as the aguas frescas. They serve it in a large, 24 oz deli container to take home which is a nice touch. Overall, the vibes and service were amazing and the food was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try more. With the owner’s dedication to this stand, I have no doubt they will succeed with opening a storefront in the near future if they decide to do so.
The 7 layer taco lives up to it's reputation. Handmade blue corn tortillas with crispy cheese along with creamy refried beans, diced onions, cilantro, crema, cojita, guacamole, and the mesquite grilled meat of choice (chicken, meat, or pork. I recommend their 3 taco special which includes three 7 layer taco with each of their meats for $14, and comes with their delightful salsas. One of my favorites in LA for sure. IG:. Kay_okay_eats
Local, family owned, award-winning business. Generous portions for the price and though it 's take out only, they ensure that your food makes it home safely. Don 't wait too long to eat it though as it 's best when fresh. Their standard blue corn tortilla and layers of garnishes make this a must! Open only in certain days, for which they forecast on Instagram. Payment methods are varied and if ordering ahead , do so days ahead of time via their Instagram.
