Chantilly Pastry Shop - Passaic

I found the products to be good, but I'm not fully convinced about the customer service. While I've seen some glowing reviews, I have my doubts. I've visited the location in Passaic, NJ, several times and noticed a woman at the back of the store, near the ice cream freezer. Her customer service was lacking, and her body language was quite uncomfortable, which detracted from the experience. Unfortunately, it became clear later that she was the owner. I remember when they were located on Union Avenue in Paterson, where the focus seemed to be on customer service and humility, likely because the parents were in charge at that time.

I ordered a tres leches cake with fruit for Mother's Day yesterday, and when I went to pick it up today, they told me it had already been picked up. They offered to give me another cake, but without fruit. It’s totally unacceptable. What a shame! The owner seems to be in cahoots with the staff who don't properly check when customers come to collect their orders. They did refund my money, but I decided to order a Dominican cake with fruit and sweet milk instead. It was great and cheaper too. So I went with Chantilly.
