The owner, John, is incredibly warm and welcoming to everyone who visits. It's clear he opened this restaurant with the right intentions. I always feel valued and included during my visits. The food is absolutely delicious and deserves a five-star rating, with a focus on local ingredients that celebrate the community. They also offer gluten-free and vegan options for those who need them. Furthermore, the servers are outstanding. John has a passion for good food, great drinks, and enjoyable experiences, ensuring a fantastic atmosphere.

I can't express enough how thankful I am to Peta and her amazing team at Local. We reserved their upstairs area for my wedding and reception, and everything was absolutely perfect! The space was ideal for our 42-person wedding. Peta was incredibly accommodating and kept in touch throughout the entire planning process. The food was outstanding—people are still raving about it! You really can't find better service than at Local; they feel like family to us now! I highly recommend using their services.

I had a delightful lunch at Local Eat Drink Celebrate today! Our server, Christina, was cheerful and accommodating, assisting us in navigating the varied menu. My husband opted for a couple of craft beers in tasting sizes, and both were outstanding. I was curious about the Jalapeño mimosa, and it did not disappoint—it was fantastic! For our meals, we enjoyed the grilled shrimp over fried rice, which was excellent, and the Hot Chicken sandwich accompanied by crispy Brussels sprouts on the side (delicious!). We wrapped up our meal by sharing a peanut butter and chocolate pie, which was truly indulgent.

This is a MUST STOP! The food is AMAZING. The atmosphere is gorgeous.... old South Carolinian bricks, beams, mantels. So beautiful! Great music. Local artwork. The staff is so friendly! Great craft beer selection and bourbon. A peach cobbler that is worth the 20 minute wait! We had the hot chicken sandwich and the crab cakes. Phenomenal! Was brought here for my birthday dinner and it did NOT disappoint. Our server Beatrice was really nice and super helpful. We had the duck confit taco appetizer for the table and I split a cute loaf entree with my mom; both were outstanding! My grandmother had the shrimp and oyster basket and was also very impressed, and she's always picky with seafood. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something a little fancier but not intimidating. I wish I had a chance to grab
