Alfonso's Mexican Food - Payson

I've eaten here since 2014 and this place had the best Mexican food I've ever eaten! There are many places in the city that serve Mexican foods such as Aliberto or El Rancho, but if you want big but cheap Mexican food, that is your place. I usually get the chorizo breakfast Burrito or the Carne Asada Burrito, and my wife usually gets the egg and sausage breakfast Burrito. All three are delicious, and everything else I have here is great! This place is your definition of a “hole in the wall restaurant”, but it is fantastic! Eat here!

Great food at good prices. If there's a line, don't worry. They are experienced in moving masses through quickly because it is a popular place for high school children to eat.

A real hole in the wall joint. No frills, big numbered menu with many combos— and everything is a good deal. Big portions for little money. Did I mention how good it was? I would make a point to be in this area again specifically to get Alfonso’s.

Amazing place as always amazing food for 6 years that ive gone here to eat. I ordered 3 beef and bean burritos today on a delivery website but only 1 was beef and bean the other 2 were bean and cheese my bad. I wanted all 3 beef and bean.. but I accidentally ordered only 1 and the other 2 became bean amd cheese. So the young man as of 6/19/2022 called me to ask if I wanted all 3 beef and bean because I messed up the order. He said well next time you gotta pay extra because it costs more to add beef to your bean and cheese burritos but this time we can let it slide. I'm such a happy customer and kudos to that young man amazing customer service and amazing food. What else can I say forever an alfonsos customer! (Edit. I ordered 2 pints of rice but instead they gave me 2 pints of beans. I don't like their beans and it kind of sucks that I ordered ten $10 dollars worth of rice but instead I got 2 pints of beans that I dislike). Would really like that rice with my dinner right now..

The food is excellent and the prices are great. The restaurant is clean and employees are wonderful. Breakfast burritos are huge. The combo meals are all very fresh.
