Emma's Mex Grill - Pearland

We had an early dinner on a Sunday with our daughters. The food was fantastic, our waitress was friendly, the cucumber margaritas were definitely worth the trip! We'll be back next time we're in the area.

My grandparents and I went here for an early dinner yesterday. I have a fully trained, medical alert service dog for my blood sugar amongst other hidden disabilities in my body. Upon entering there was a sign on the door that said something along the lines of ESA and Pets are not welcome, SERVICE ANIMALS WELCOME which of course is by law, but I thought it was nice that they were smart enough to weed out all the fakes. Upon being seated, my service dog tucked under the table and laid down as he was commanded to do, and has done a million times before in restaurants. The manager came to our table and asked me for paperwork on my dog, to which I kindly responded that paperwork for service animals is fake and legally they aren 't allowed to ask me for it. I then gave him an informative card that talks about service dogs and the laws and what you 're allowed to ask their handlers. He took it gratefully and we went on with our dinner. That is until we were paying and the same manager came back to our table and demanded I give him my name and email address so he can check with the city to see if my dog was a real service dog I again, kindly replied that there is no way for them to check because service dog paperwork is not real. To help him understand I even told him that the dog was meant to alert to my blood sugar (which I absolutely did not have to tell him! . He then proceeded to lift up his sleeve, show me his diabetic blood sugar monitor and tell me I have diabetes and I don 't need a dog. I then explained that I don 't have diabetes but a different condition and I am not able to use that type of monitor. He continued to discriminate against me and my service dog. I left before anything could get out of hand. It doesn 't take but 3 minutes to educate yourself and your staff on the ADA Service Animal Laws!

I am so sad to post this review my family and I have been customers of this restaurant for years. Today I ordered via door dash and we we received our food a portion of our order was missing I immediately called the restaurant and the manager Louise answered the phone he was sadly so rude and unprofessional. From the very beginning of the call he repeatedly claimed that he personally packed the food and all items were properly included. They were not by the way and please know that they use a large white bag and staple the bag closed which it was still upon delivery. Everyone makes mistakes but part of the service business is being able to own up to it and be courteous to your customers I was very nice and honestly was willing to come pick up the missing item, accept a partial refund any of the above but this person we continuously rude and said he has been packing to go orders for ten years and he knows it was included. I am sorry to say we will not be returning.

Came in with my family for the first time. It looked promising. Everyone ordered their food and I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas. I was cutting into my food and had a bite of it. There was a weird after taste as soon as I finished swallowing it. I called the waiter over and told her about it. She took the plate and asked what I wanted. I just told her that I'll get the quesadillas. My mom was eating them and they looked good. While everyone has their food already, I'm waiting for my plate to come out. She brings my plate and I get shrimp enchiladas instead of what I asked her to bring for me after she had taken my original plate. I didn't eat it and my nephew ended up eating it instead. I asked for quesadillas not enchiladas especially after my first plate didn't taste good. Probably won't come back again. The only reason for coming here is because we had just came from a funeral and we were trying to get something to eat after.

Emmas always delivers. The best margs in pearland and its not even close. The food is amazing and the price is right. If you want the best tex-mex around, this is it.
