Bidra med feedbackOne of the best places I've been to eat! My favorite was the tempura shrimp taco and the Korean fried chicken sandwich although you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The shrimp taco was so flavorful and delicious! The Korean fried chicken sandwich was so juicy and tender. It is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! If you like fried chicken sandwiches this one is a must! With all the different options to eat, Park's Food Street is a great place to go if you have a group of people who can't decide where to eat. You will leave full and happy.
Heard a lot of good things about this place and Cupdak specifically from friends and coworkers. And I have so much love for Korean fried chicken. I was excited to try this new place and was surprised to pull up to a mini food hall. The service was absolutely terrible. We were greeted a full 10 minutes after walking in by a guy who was clearly overwhelmed/ticked off. Shrugged it off as him just having a busy night and ordered anyways. Was a grave mistake. The same guy taking orders at the counter was expo-ing all the food and serving every table in each separate venue! Was there from 6:30pm-7:45 pm waiting on a 2 item TO GO order. I understand that KFC takes some time as it is usually double fried. But the quality of the food and the extremely lengthy wait didn 't match. Multiple table seated after we ordered were served before us. However, i felt really bad for this one poor guy serving the whole restaurant. It was a Saturday night and no one else to help this sorry guy??? Very bad for business. I was not the only person there at time that had a clearly poor experience, believe me. I ordered the Yes I am cupdak and my partner got the sweet/spicy kfc. The bowl was a good portion and the garlic mayo sauce was really good. However, the fried chicken in the bowl and the wings were disappointing. The sauce was just a sweet soy with no spice. Wings were anything but crispy. TL;DR Overall a VERY bad experience. Was uncomfortable the whole time i was there because the one server was basically having a justified meltdown the whole time. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. The food was very basic and tame korean food. Definitely wont be back
My first review was for Ramyun time, and I gave it 2 stars because the food was not good. I gave them another chance last night and tried CupDak. We ordered the Garlic and Soy chicken, and the Gochujang chicken. The chicken meat itself was extremely salty and almost not edible. The sauce on the outside made it slightly better but still that sauce was not that good either. The weird thing is our to go order was SOAKING in sauce, and somehow some chicken pieces were still not covered in sauce. The good part of the meal? Some chicken pieces still had a crispy skin, which was nice. And I really like their pickled cabbage. Taste: 1/5 Presentation: 1/5 Recommend to a friend?: No Consistent: Yes... consistently bad Cost: Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot.
Fantastic spot for anyone who loves Korean food ... or ramen... or tacos?! Stopped here for lunch with my mom while in Durham. I got spicy chicken CupDak (aka chicken in a cup). She got tacos. Everything
Front and back of house issues. Food was just not good, at all. Pains me to write a negative review, but we wasted $40. We hope they can figure it out as the concept and location is great, and love to support local businesses.
