The Frog Pond - Peculiar

Disgusting. Don't go here. Dirty, poor service, new owners are condescending and the food is low grade dog chow. We deserve better.

While driving to KC for the holidays, the wife picked this place along our route to stop and get a bite. I was skeptical at first but once I saw their menu and all the great things people said, I thought what the hell. This little gem in the rough has a lot of potential. We both ordered a beer and the tenderloin sandwich. Wow, perfectly cooked and definitely hit the spot. If your looking for a great K-Loin sandwich and cold brew, ya got to hit up the little bar grill

Server No clue her name. She failed to introduce herself. Atmosphere It's a pub feel with a bar and a huge menu They have free wifi. Food The Hawaiian chicken sandwich with no bun. The terriaki/soy sauce was very sweet and the chicken itself had an odd taste. I had the patty melt with no onions. It tasted okay. It had a DEFINITE onion taste that was not too good. We think the odd tastes could be from the grill not being cleaned properly. The waffle fries were hot, crisp and well seasoned. Overall For a pub it's okay. Not the best and by far, not the worse. The servers came by frequently but not too often to be annoying. 3 stars because no military discount, odd flavors that were not expected, and the server not stating her name. Military No.

Breakfast here is so yummy! All food I've had here is delicious. Best Bites and Beer Cheese around. Taco Thursday is so good and weekends with live music. So much fun to have close to home.

Shortly off the freeway, great alternative stop for food than your regular fast food joint. Tasty and nice folks.
