Bidra med feedbackNot a bad concept at all. I definitely want to give this place another try since we ordered food to go. So my opinion is purely on the food we got and not the atmosphere. We ordered the Chifa Chicken Wings, the Dragon Roll and the Steak Frites, all of which I would order again. I was impressed with the quality for the fact that it was ordered to go. The wings had a great blend of sweet and spicy. The dragon roll was delicious. Again, I'm not much of a steak person, but this was very nice. The fusion of parmesan and chimichurri was very tasty.
Go here ! Here's your run down : PARKING/LOCATION: Parking is super easy and convenient as it's located in a plaza on Pines Blvd. The location is basic but the food that comes from here is anything but. FOOD/DRINKS: the food here is excellent it is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian I would say. Everything is tapas style so it's great for sharing if you go with a group of people. One of my favorite dishes has been discontinued which was the fried shrimp ceviche, BUT , everything on their menu is worth a try. The crispy tuna is a favorite so much flavor and texture in there bite sized crispy rices, even for the person that you know who claims not to like raw fish, trust me they won't ever know ! DRESS/SERVICE: dress here is casual and service is always excellent. They have gone above and beyond and are always extremely friendly. AMBIENCE: it's cute little quaint spot no lavish decor or anything but some night it gets a little lively, usually they are busy for dinner service. So if you want a quick quiet lunch go before 5pm before the dinner crowd gets in, trust me it gets busy! Overall : this is one of my favorite neighborhood hole in the wall spots, they will not disappoint stop in and try anything, my favorites are the appetizers!
A must try Japanese Peruvian Fusion restaurant. Everything we ordered taste really good. The place is small but the food is big for a good appetite. The prices are reasonable. Just a little waiting for the orders to come but it is worth it. I am giving this a 5 stars because of foods. A highly recommend this place to try. I am surely going to return.
So it’s a Peruvian Japanese fusion place which is playing Colombian music, So ambiance was a bit off. Decoratively looked fine Other wise. Had a lot of oriental stuff. With a few out of place decorations but it’s fine. Server was nice seeing as she was the only one there can’t complain too much about the service. But they did serve a child chicken and fries with out ketchup. Had to ask three times for them to bring it and when they did they filled the cup half way so the chicken could not even reach the ketchup. Had to ask for a second one. Food was ok, there was six of us. My lion sushi was good great fusion sushi one of the best I have had to be honest, but small for $19. But the other food was ok the traditional ceviche was decent flavor was there. Decent for $14 just needed some more additives In there. However Wasn’t a fan of the sweet potato purée. It looks nice but the flavor was lacking. Chicha morada Wasn’t as sweet as you would normally expect. Didn’t taste bad but tasted more like watered down sorrel to me. Mixed green salad, $7 Looked nice but flavor wasn’t there. Been wanting to try this place for a while. But did expect better. Friend got the hamachi, For $14. I don’t think it could of filled a small child. Flavor was there just small the other dishes the guava roll too sweet and Nikkei. Ceviche Flavor lack luster. It was just underwhelming for the price. I think it was a bit over priced and to charge those prices. It should be something that matches. That experience alone would of given a 3 star from my book. Only gave it a 2 since never been a fan of a place putting automatic gratuity. And 20% in parties of five or more is crazy. It’s like one of the higher tipper ranges and five is barely even considered a large party. But one was a child and three out the five adults left hungry. One didnt want the ceviche anymore since the flavor was just off and Was forcing it down. Other the entree so small. And the other guava was too sweet to eat the full thing. Felt embarrassed taken out people to try a fusion place for the first time and so many people leaving unsatisfied. And paying about $200 with the tip. It was just crazy to me. And a bit underwhelming. I am not here to bash the restaurant I just love food and feel the price should match what you pay for. I hope they take it as a way to improve. I will pay a lot for great food. But to pay a lot and have so much dissatisfaction, just a shame. But like I said to me the lion roll best thing I had there and just needed to be slightly larger to get it to that point of being worth $20. You can go to buffets for that price. Honestly with All the reviews Majority either agree with me about the price and the size or rave about the taste. So idk if I will ever go back. But I do know it won’t be my first choice. Unless I was already close by it. This place does have potential it just has to either lower its prices or make it worth the price. By size and or flavor.Update :Did hear back from owner. A few days later. I understood their reasoning. When it comes to food cost and overhead. When it comes to the pricing. But it want even the price that was the issue just if the food quality matched the price. Did try four things and two were good. And for those two and the reply from the owner I will consider going sometime in the future.Thank you for reaching back out owner I hope the next visits. Will be able to earn more stars
What a fantastic find. Not only is the food excellent, but they have an unbelievable wine selection which we didn't realize until after we got there. We had a great conversation with one of the owners about wines and look forward to returning in the near future to enjoy some of theirs along with another great meal.
