Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is just as disappointing as the other Lutong Pinoy in North Miami. My wife insisted we try it, and I regret agreeing. First, the fresh lumpia was a letdown: the vegetables were uniformly cut and too crunchy. The tocino, priced at $13.99, consisted of a tiny piece of pork drowning in an overly sweet sauce. The longganisa was just four small pieces of what tasted like old sausage for $10.99. The sisig was nearly ground pork that was overcooked, paired with an egg that was also overdone when it should have been runny. The pancit guisado was poorly made as well, and they fried the bangus, so we only ended up eating the belly. We paid $42 for four orders of taho, which was excessively sweet, and the silken tofu tasted old and unpleasant. We drove about an hour from Miami to this Pembroke Pines location, hoping Lutong Pinoy 2 would be an improvement over the one in North Miami, but it was just as bad. Save yourself the trouble and skip this restaurant.
Freshly prepared Filipino cuisine! I visited a few days ago with my student, and this is definitely the spot for authentic homemade Filipino dishes. The other location in North Miami is equally excellent.
This place feels like home to me. The atmosphere here is much better than the North Miami location. They have karaoke, and you can sing every day—just ask! The Halo Halo is delicious! Plus, there's a mini kitchen inside where you can buy your favorite Filipino snacks.
Was the feeling for a few Filipino food last night and this place not disappointed! ordered the Pansit Bihon with chicken, bbq chicken kewers, chicken lumps, turon and ube ice, and Calamansi. Yum yum yum! Probably the best lumps I've ever had and paired it well with the Thai sauce. The lady was beautiful. Can't wait to go back and maybe try some of the snacks they have on the display.
Love this spot! The portions are good size. The adobo is awesome!! We love the lumpia and Gyoza. If you love Filipino food you won't be disappointed. They also have a mini grocery store. Must try!!!
