The Hive Honey Ice Cream

Amazing ice cream. Honey used to sweeten. Will definitely return again and try more. We had the mango, peanut and rum and raisin.

After a picnic lunch by the harbour my wife and I headed towards this ice cream shop. We had a very pleasant chat with the server and I complemented her on how deftly she used her scoop to form an almost perfectly spherical ball of ice cream. She promptly placed a further two scoops on my wife’s offering, totally dwarfing the cone. I pushed my luck even further, enquiringly whether I could have two flavours I ended up with four spheres perched on top of an identical small cone. There was a sign in the window indicating that the shop was closing in two days time for the winter we wondered if the server was polishing off the stock in advance of the closure.We set off to find a bench to eat the ice cream in the warm afternoon sun, before it either melted or was displaced from the cone on to the pavement. Glad to report that we both managed to eat the ice creams without any disasters!

Have tried all the ice cream in Saundersfoot,this is the best. Try the black currant!Fantastic. They only sell the waffle cones so they stay crisp until the end. Very good value.

While the ice cream itself was extremely tasty and the portion generous. It was a very expensive treat considering that it is ice cream. I paid somewhere in the £4 region for 2 scoops. No problem at all with the product itself, just the pricing.

We brought 3 ice creams one of which was with a gluten free waffle cone. It Was delicious (not something I often say about gluten free alternatives). Fully recommend as all the flavours we brought were delicious. The member of staff was friendly and really helpful.
