Nice clean and welcoming pub, staff was very friendly and helpful. It's good now you can get the steak club deals every day, we had mixed grill and steaks all the meals were fresh and well cooked. Not over busy for a Tuesday

Bad custom service! The woman behind the bar was rude with a nasty attitude. The locals were drunk and loud by 8.45am and made it uncomfortable. Overall the woman behind the bar really let this place down. I won’t be coming back . Only this one person has this manner , the other spoons no issues. She was even talking to the locals about us and making sure we could hear her . Just plain and simple out of order!!

Great beers average food. Most staff good. Manager not so good. Tables are not cleared and cleaned for quite a while after becoming vacant.

Met up with friends from out of town. We had told them that we are a lovely little friendly town. Walked into the pub and the staff were very abrupt and aggressive in their manor towards us. Told us to move away from our table as too many of us stood around it. Not our fault the place didn't have enough seating! Started to leave and they threatened to take our photos for future reference!! Not the friendly people we told our friends about. Disappointed is an understatement.

Just been to the Crown hotel ,where the real ales was limited but excellent We moved onto the Wallace Hartley Wetherspoons Colne, Hoping we would get a good choice of selection of real ales, to be met with a choice of 2 real ale choices, Ruddles or Abbot on hand pump!! This is unacceptable!! Needless to say we moved onto another local watering hole This is totally unacceptable!!!!!
