Khon's On Palafox - Pensacola

There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. It took 45-60 minutes for our order to arrive, while other tables seated after us received their food, finished their meal, paid, and left before we were served. Despite understanding that mishaps can occur in the industry, there was no immediate response from management to rectify the situation, such as offering an appetizer, drinks, or dessert on the house. Unsure if we will return, despite enjoying the restaurant.

This is without a doubt the best sushi in Pensacola!

Just flavor all over the place. Get the Hot Chili Shrimp and forget all about Boom-Boom and Bang-Bang imitators. The yellowtail special was a winner. Very fresh, lightly seared and expertly seasoned. We really enjoyed the meal.

Waiter was condescending. Asked to confirm if California roll is cooked as I know they usually are and he said “never in the history of the California roll has it ever been cooked, it’s raw.” I even googled because I felt stupid only to find out I was right and California rolls are cooked. So I avoided most things on the menu with crab thinking it was raw and I’m just not convinced he gave me accurate information.

Food and service always top tier! Menu has numerous selections that will please all diners.
