The Melting Pot - Pensacola

Had reservations, had to wait but we were unstanding to that. Once we were seated ordered our drinks, got our drinks then when we were ready to order the main meal we were told we couldn 't cook it the way we wanted because all the dishes were being used and they didn 't have enough. Would have been great to know before we got settled in. We settled for what we really didn 't want because we were already there and it was a Birthday celebration. Got our main meal before the salads were ready, so we ate our main meal before our salads finally arrived. Had to ask the waitress to refill our drinks 4 times before we ever got refills. Dirty dishes were never removed from the table until the very end. I understand if they were short staffed, I get that. But we spent $300.00 on a meal and it really wasn 't what we wanted because of lack of dishes. The dessert was wonderful!!

Family from abroad visit and chose this culinary experience to make great memories. The meal was excellent. Yeah, it's expensive, but worth the experience.

First of all I would like to say this is my first time going it was a date night with my husband never been to a family style restaurant had a wonderful time this was the first time I can actually say we went to a restaurant we have no complaints it was actually really a five-star restaurant in our waitress Lindsay was amazing I will be requesting her when we come back my overall feedback wants to go would be five star five stars five stars I love this restaurant it's fine you enjoy yourself is something you and jamel can do together it was just amazing I can't believe How my husband out did his self this time And I really hope that I spelled your name right lindsay because U R amazing

Service was warm and welcoming. Every thing we ate was great. Atmosphere was a little bland and could probably use a few hoods in the dining areas to pull all the steam and smoke out. But otherwise all was good.
