We were stopping in Carbis bay and did not mind driving to get fresh fish and chips from this place friendly staff great tasting fresh fish and chips
Looking for local fish chips. Everywhere was either not open, closed down or bad reviews. Sanders looked good so headed there. It was ok but not what I had hoped. To me I wanted it to be on the coast but was in land (I knew this). Place was nice and modern. Few to many flies on the windows inside but not much can be done with this. Service was good and as expected. Chips were plentiful (to many for us). Food tasted good although a little greasy/oily especially the battered prawns. Kids sausage was good. Suggestion as to not waste food. As chips are always cooking perhaps do smaller portions and mention to the customers eating in if they need more chips for the table to ask. Could reduce waste
Popped in mid week, at lunchtime, for a takeaway. There were spaces available to dine in, but we wanted to take back to our holiday chalet. Our order was taken quickly, and we were told there would be a short wait from what I could see, it looked like our fish were being fried fresh. I think we waited maybe 5 minutes before we were given our food and we were on our way. Staff were friendly and professional, and the place looked clean and tidy.
I just visited this place for some chips, and I have to say, they were the best I've ever had! Fresh out of the fryer and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend that anyone staying in Cornwall stop by.
