Rubio's - Peoria

I've visited this restaurant a few times and have yet to be disappointed. The shrimp tacos are the best I've ever had, though we did try the lobster special once and found it to be just average. In my opinion, the Mexican corn street tacos and the Verde shrimp taco plates are the standout items on the menu. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the portions offer great value for the price. However, the beans appear to take up quite a bit of space on the plate alongside the chips!

The presentation of the food was excellent, and it was delicious as well. There was a young lady whose name I can't recall at the moment, but her service and attention to detail truly deserved five stars. If more people in the food industry worked like her, I would say there is hope for the future. Her strong work ethic was evident, and she took pride in what she did. Great job!

The restaurant was quiet and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the shrimp burrito with extra chipotle sauce, which was delicious. It had a fresh, seafood flavor that was delightful. Additionally, the outdoor seating in the shade was a nice bonus!
