Bidra med feedbackOrdered chicken schnitzel, came deep fried within an inch of its life, there was even a chip included in the coating, my piece of chicken was stringy and tough, the salad was awful , the waitress was rude , I have nothing good to say
The décor appears to be industrial with exposed ducting/ pipework with a concrete ceiling but is clean and bright. The seating is quite cosy and a little cramped but not too bad if it’s quiet. The staff were friendly and courteous and never far away...when needed, without hovering over you. The menu has a reasonable range to suit all palates that were averagely priced. The servings were a reasonable size and the Chicken Caesar Salad was full of flavour with just a hint of chilli. A great meal. The vanilla sundae with chocolate sauce was OK. The restaurant has a reasonable range of beers, wines and spirits that are averagely priced. I had the Wall Street XPA and the East Village IPA, finding them fruity and not too bitter, both very refreshing. The restaurant is located adjacent to the Perth Underground Train Station and a great place to wait. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.
East Village is located in a laneway off 140 William Street. It has a bit of a NYC feel which is the vibe it aims for. We were greeted by a staff member who took us to our table and gave us a couple of...torn menus. Service was friendly and fairly efficient during our visit and the food arrived really quickly. My wife had a chicken burger with maple bacon which she rated as very good. The chicken was moist which is always a good sign. My NY cheeseburger was also very tasty. Both burgers came with nicely cooked fries. The roll for the burgers wasn't large but the meal was still filling. There are a number of burger options and pizza options but also more substantial meals. The menu has a enough choices to satisfy most needs. Prices are reasonable for what you get.
Been here a few times because their pizza Bianca is amazing!!!! When we rocked up we needed to get someone's attention to serve us.. We ordered...she came back to say there was no more pizzas left.... No more pizzas left at lunch time on a...weekday!!?? So dissapointed so then we changed our order we waited over half an hour and told them we only have an hour as it's our lunch break n if she could check on our food she came back to say the food had been pushed to the front still we waited and had to wait longer and ended up getting it takeaway to eat back at the office not ideal when you've gone out to have relaxing lunch and a break from the office don't think we will be coming back. (we had also booked a table)
