Good to have all these fried chicken restaurants opening all over town! Came to check it out on a Sat for an early dinner.

Gami Chicken and Beer is tucked in Shafto Lane in the city The speciality is no secret - you'll find crunchy Korean fried chicken and jugs of beer.

One of mine and my husband's favourite places to visit in the city for dinner on a Friday night. We usually order the boneless chicken with spicy sauce, which has always been good every time we have been to Gami. The chicken is always crispy on the outside and deliciously succulent on the inside. The chicken comes with a lovely coleslaw salad and goes well with a beer or a ginger beer.  We have also tried the kimchi pancake which was delicious as well! Definitely a must to visit!

Came with the promise of Korean deep fried chicken. Am thoroughly amazed by the taste of Korean deep fried chicken. It's like having an orgasm in my mouth. Meal started with prawn crackers. I ❤️ prawn crackers. As you do when you go to an Asian restaurant, you try the suspicious tiny canned drinks. It was pear juice. It perfectly matched the meal. Next time I want to go at night and eat a mountain of chicken with beer and friends.
